We're all seeing more clearly than ever that the practice of discernment has never been more important than it is now, there is so much information and dis-information out there, that it can be hard to find the truth but your body always knows, so let it guide you wisely through the maze.
This post got me right in the gut, or what I now would refer to as the core of my being. I've posted the original post with my thoughts added in blue for you to see what I see when I look at it. It will also give you an idea how people who understand the workings of the mind watch the news and the other propaganda that comes through the google-box.
CLASSROOM SOCIALISM
Is this man truly a genius? (Lovely little unconscious suggestion)
An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. Hmm..seems to suggest that Obama is a puritanical Socialist, he may have socialist leanings but let's face it so do many, doesn't make him Karl Marx does it? For the record, this isn't about Obama at all to me. I'm sure as the year continues there will be many times to discuss Obama here in future, for now just pretend he's not been mentioned as although he is, the post really is about Socialism and not him.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an “A”.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all). Are Uni student's really that thick?
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a “B”. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. Suggests the only difference between grades is the amount of work involved on one essay, rather than a culmination of past work.
As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a “D”! No one was happy. And here's when it starts to get really interesting, are you seeing the suggestion yet? So Socialism makes no-one happy because everyone would rather be lazy lay-abouts hmm.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the new average was an “F”. Argh..help it's getting worse and worse!
As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. The world is full of selfish, lazy slobs who will do nothing for no-one!
To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. Generalisation, generalisation, generalisation!!
Human nature will always cause socialism's style of government to fail because the world has producers and non-producers (makers and takers). Hmm...once again generalisation! The world is filled with many types of wonderful people not just "makers" and "takers". This was based on an experiment with a group of University students who were obviously educated and most probably healthy and wealthy too. What about vulnerable members of society, do we just pretend they don't exist, because it's easier to have a black and white arguement, and no, that's not about race lol!
It could not be any simpler than that. Or pretending it is that simple, fits the agenda!
(Please pass this on) Em, please don't unless you really, really agree with the sentiments in it!
These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read and all applicable to this experiment:
Absolutely no way are these the best sentences you will ever read!!
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
IMHO the people who are calling for change, although they wish for a fairer system, they don't just want to rob the rich, as the 1% have robbed the poor, they want to move to a system that provides opportunities for all, something that we cannot claim exists everywhere right now, no matter how blind we are.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
Oooh how beautifully and cleverly crafted to once again load the suggestions that you shouldn't contribute to help others because they're all just lazy-asses!
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. Suggestion - Government is and always will hold the power and the answers!! What if the people took their power back instead and together crafted something new.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! Such a small statement but yet it contains so much. In this context it suggests that wealth comes in only one form and that is money!! Real wealth however can be found in many places and caring and sharing is one of them. It also suggests that the amount of money available is the only amount that will ever be available and that maybe some simple monetary distribution from Weapons and Military to Schools and Hospitals would not increase the wealth of nations exponentially.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.
Once again, dividing the world into two! Keep them separate, keep them separate, can you hear it? And once again people who are unfit for any reason simply fail to exist! And yet so conclusive, eh? Shaking my head vigorously and disapprovingly.
Oh Yeah, did I also mention this stories already been de-bunked a few years ago and most likely isn't even true!! See link at end of post.
I am not a socialist, I am not a conservative, I am not a liberal or any other label people use to define me but I am a human being who has seen through the illusion of lack and the systems we have in place and I want and know we are capable of more.
All I ask is that as each of you continue on the path of conscious living that you be aware, not wary as the powers that be would like, just aware. You have the power to transcend any amount of B.S. by cultivating love and compassion within you, oh yes and a little forgiveness never goes amiss either, especially just now. There are many who are not yet ready to rise into a higher vibration and they will use every trick in the book to keep you there too, but you really do have a choice, always.
Two of the phrases I often mutter to myself at this time as I watch the drama continue to unfold are -
"There are no b**tards, only those who've not seen the light."
"Forgive them father, for they know not what they do."
Though there will be times when it's necessary to step away from the world to recharge, re-group and re-member (become one) when we do and re-connect with All that is, we see once again that we are one with all of humanity, one with those living in low consciousness and controlling the world, one with the Ascended Masters and Angels and one with this magnificent, majestic Universe where everything has a purpose. We realise we're here to play a role in the grandest illusion of all, so why wouldn't we make it the best possible story?
When we open our heart to the whole of humanity, we open our heart to our one true self and here awaits the path of divine purpose where all the power in the Universe joins you on your mission. Force is no longer required, things become more effortless and life becomes more joyful, it doesn't mean the work is over and you don't still have things to transform in the physical but now you have super-heroes on your team!
For now I'd like to leave you with these beautiful words by St Augustine that I came across recently.
"The truth is like a lion. You don't have to defend it. Let it loose. It will defend itself."
Love & Light Always,
Rashelle
If forgiveness is something you're finding a challenge you might find these previous posts useful.
